They also organise baking classes once a month for people who are interested in baking. Sugar Jar Baking Studio approached us to create a Brand Identity for them.
Finding: Sugar Jar entirely focusses on baking and making customised cakes, so the target customers are dessert lovers who feel that cakes play a vital role in their platter. Brand Identity elevates a brand? Of course. A Brand Identity is the most important element because in the big part of the world, people may not be able to read English or French, but they are great in reading signs. We wanted to give the customers a visual cupcake treat as soon as they saw the vibe of colours and logo we designed. We wanted to create the tempting desire to taste a savoury right away by just looking at our brand design. With these thoughts in our mind, the Sugar Jar’s logo and colours were designed.
Brand Story: The first thing that pops up in our mind when we think about cakes is the freshness, aroma, taste and colour. So we made sure to include all these details and convey everything that Sugar Jar manufactures in the single logo that we build for them. Our entire idea was to reflect the refreshing and attractive flavour of cakes they bake through our brand design. We came up with a mix of pleasant and cool colours and went on to add some curves to it. Blue and Green was the colour combination we used in deigning their identity, visiting cards, pamphlet, menu cards and letter pad.
Making of the Logo: We did try a variety of designs before we finally settled with “that brand identity” which clearly conveyed the emotion we strived to evoke in the customer’s mind and appetite. How significant is a brand identity for us? According to us, a brand identity is not just a logo that puts a business in the Market, it is that one image which has the power to evoke a deep emotional connect with the customer. We craft logos in such a way that it conveys all the information about a business and the product it manufactures using a single icon. It is in these lines, we designed Sugar Jar Baking Studio’s logo. With just a glance, the design will convey everything without the need to explain what the business actually does and that according to us is our speciality and this is what we at Two Stones stand for.
