Branding: Mango Education is an after School foundation programme for Children which aims at bridging the gap between Technology and books by offering meticulously planned Science and Computer Science courses and they aspire to create young Scientists and Makers in Coimbatore. With this revolutionary idea, they approached Two Stones and asked us to design a website for them which will serve as a platform for the kids to learn.
Finding: Unlike our other clients where the target audience would be grown-ups, this project was definitely a challenge because the target audience were kids and parents of course. The parents should be impressed and we had to create the belief; convey the promise and the idea of Mango Education but at the same time, it should be interactive, colorful and attractive for the kids to log-on to on a regular basis. Our task was to build a website which targets both parents and the School children and communicate Mango Education’s idea thereby winning the trust of parents and commitment of the Children.
Brand Story: The website we built has the right mix of colors, information and pictures. We made sure each and every image we used, blended well with the information Mango Education wanted to convey to the parents and children. Although the kids are the ultimate users of this programme, their parents are the decision makers. So we skillfully designed the website keeping in mind that the parents should be left feeling that this course would definitely create a change in their son/daughter’s thinking and educate them to the next level. On the other hand, kids will not have the drive to sit down for hours and learn something that does not fascinate them. We ensured that our website design has the attention-grabbing mix of images, information and colours that will animate them each time they sat down to learn.
Building of the website: Once we knew who our target audience was and what kind of emotion we wanted to construct in the website, building it was one of a kind experience for us that we cherish until now. We used green, yellow and white all through because “Mango” typically bears these very colors. Using this fusion of shades, we achieved our mission of targeting the children with enthralling pictures and found a way to capture the notice of parents by conveying the picture’s promise in words. Therefore, we thrived in not only connecting the images and content but we also coupled the attention of parents and children.
